Favorieten exporteren
Als u veel surft, zult u ongetwijfeld na verloop van tijd een lange lijst met favorieten hebben verzameld. Na een crash (waarvan u hoopt dat het ú nooit overkomt) bent u uw favorieten ook kwijt. U kunt echter een backup maken van uw favorieten en dat later weer terugzetten. Ga als volgt te werk:

Klik op Bestand en daarna op Importeren en Exporteren. Er wordt een wizard gestart. Klik op Volgende.
Kies Favorieten exporteren (zie figuur hiernaast).
Klik twee keer op Volgende.
Geef de map aan waar u de favorieten wilt opslaan.
Klik daarna op Volgende en Voltooien.
Uw favorieten worden opgeslagen onder de naam bookmark.htm. U kunt dit bestand aan iemand e-mailen of ergens anders bewaren. Als u uw favorieten weer wilt terugzetten, volgt u de procedure hierboven, maar kiest u in de wizard voor Favorieten importeren. De rest spreekt vanzelf.

Hyperlinks afdrukken
Als u op een webpagina veel hyperlinks tegenkomt, kunt u in de Internet Explorer hiervan een lijstje laten printen. Ga als volgt te werk:

Druk op CTRL + P.
Klik op het tabblad Opties.
Zet een vinkje voor Tabel met koppelingen afdrukken.
Klik op Afdrukken.
